Intensive Hebrew Summer Course – Summer 2026
Following the success of our 2025 collaboration, AIC and Reichman University International School are pleased to extend their partnership.
As of today, a reduced tuition fee for partners of Israeli citizens is officially included in the pricing of the Reichman University Intensive Summer Ulpan.

Intensive Ulpan – What is it?
An ulpan is a Hebrew language program designed to help new immigrants and international residents learn Hebrew quickly and effectively. The Summer Hebrew Ulpan at Reichman University is an intensive course officially run in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Education. It offers a structured and immersive learning experience, combining classroom instruction with engaging learning activities, professional instructors and a proven curriculum designed to help participants make rapid progress in a short period of time.
Ulpan Levels
The Summer Ulpan offers all five core levels of instruction: Aleph through Hey. Additional mid-range levels may open, depending on the number of participants.
Dates and Hours
- Course dates: Sunday, June 28th to Thursday, July 30th, 2026.
- Class schedule: Sundays through Thursdays, 08:30 to 13:00.
- Total hours: 125 hours
- For advanced levels: Mandatory placement test on June 23rd or 24th 2026, at 09:00.
Pricing
As a part of AIC’s collaboration with Reichman University, partner visa holders and partners of Israelis who completed the gradual process are eligible for an exclusive, reduced price:
Discounted tuition fee: 1,500₪ instead of 4,220₪
- Exclusive rate: The partner/spouse tuition is a reduced, identical to the tuition set for veteran Olim.
- Payment will be made directly to Reichman University.

Registration for the 2026 Summer Hebrew Ulpan is now open – limited spots available!
We recommend submitting the registration application as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Payment will only be required at a later stage.

Registration Instructions
Use the following guidelines to fill out the registration form according to your visa type:

After submitting the form, send an email to ulpanrris@runi.ac.il with the following attached documents:
- All applicants: A photo/scan of your valid visa (A5 / B1 Partner Visa / other visa).
- Israeli residents/citizens (including A5): A photo/scan of your Israeli ID from both side + ID appendix (Sefach).
- Other Visa Holders with an Israeli Partner: a short explanation of your status as a partner of an Israeli in the immigration process. and any supporting documents (PIBA meeting confirmation, application confirmation, etc).
FAQ
How much does the course cost?
AIC and Reichman University offer eligible partner visa holders and spouses of Israelis a discounted tuition fee of 1,500₪.
Must I attend all classes?
Attend classes as you wish. However, if you miss more than 5 days (out of 25), you won’t be eligible for the completion certificate! Also, you won’t be refunded for classes you did not attend.
I have no Hebrew knowledge, do I need to take the placement exam?
There is no need for a placement exam if you have no prior knowledge of Hebrew. You will be assigned to the most basic level course.
My Hebrew is pretty good already, is the course also suitable for me?
Yes! The Intensive Summer Ulpan offers a variety of levels, from total beginners and up to level ‘ה’, which is suitable for those who can already read, write, and speak Hebrew confidently, and who want to deepen their skills for academic, professional, or personal purposes. If you can hold complex conversations, understand Hebrew media, and write with ease, this level may be a good fit for you.
Will I have to do homework?
Yes. Expect at least one hour of homework per day in this intensive Hebrew course. Practice makes perfect!
I changed my mind after paying. Can I get a refund?
Participants who wish to cancel their registration may do so up until June 20th, 2026, at 4:00 PM (GMT +2), and get a full tuition refund. A registration fee of 350 NIS is non-refundable after payment. Refunds will not be possible after June 20th.
