Ulpan Gordon – 30 Years of Excellence in Hebrew Education
An ulpan is a Hebrew language program designed to help new immigrants and international residents learn Hebrew quickly and effectively.
Ulpan Gordon is Israel’s largest municipal Hebrew school, run by the Tel Aviv Municipality and the Ministry of Education. For over 30 years, it has welcomed hundreds of thousands of students, becoming a cornerstone of Hebrew learning and cultural integration. Its modern three-story campus offers air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi, a computer lab, event hall, cafeteria, elevator, and landscaped garden – creating a supportive and inviting environment.

The courses presented here were opened due to demand from the AIC community and consist mostly of AIC students, providing a unique opportunity not only to learn Hebrew but also to connect with others in the international couples community and build lasting friendships. FAQ
How do courses operate during security escalations?
Ulpan Gordon operates in accordance with the directives of the Home Front Command. When in-person gatherings are restricted, courses continue online via Zoom.
The courses listed above are scheduled to begin on the indicated dates, but may be postponed depending on security developments.
How much do Hebrew courses cost?
All Ulpan Gordon courses are offered at a reduced tuition fee for the AIC community of international couples. Prices vary depending on each course’s length and schedule. A 25% discount is applied to the full price.
Do you offer other levels other than the ones mentioned?
Ulpan Gordon offers all levels of Hebrew studies – from the most basic Alef level to advanced Hebrew at the Dalet level and above. Our exclusive pricing now applies to all courses, subject to availability and placement testing.
“AIC classes,” which are typically made up mostly of couples from our community, are opened based on demand. To stay updated on these opportunities, subscribe to our newsletter.
What are “Voucher Courses”?
Voucher classes are opened for new Olim (those who immigrated to Israel under the Law of Return) who receive a voucher from the Ministry of Integration for free Hebrew studies.
Non-Olim may also join these classes, subject to availability. AIC’s exclusive tuition fee applies to these courses as well, offering a discount from the full price for non-Olim participants.
Will I have to do homework?
Yes, the teachers at the Ulpan will assign homework based on the class’s progress and material. Practice makes perfect!
Is there a break during the class?
Yes. Evening courses include a 15-minute break in the middle of each session.
Must I attend all classes?
New material is taught in every lesson! Therefore, regular attendance is strongly recommended, though occasional absences are understandable.
I changed my mind after paying. Can I get a refund?
